Germanium, tubes, 7.6k, analog, saturation, Louisiana swamp ash, true bypass, true-bypass-buffered-relay-switching, Mullard, low capacitance, point-to-point, Mercury Magnetics, 10 gauge, Two Rock, Toneczar, natural decay, mosfet, hand-wired, RC4558, relic’d (like, real ‘I break my back touring’ relic’d, not ‘Fender has a machine that sands this part of the paint off to a T on every guitar’ relic’d), signal path, harmonics, 18 volts, ES335 all original, 500k pot, hand-carved mahogany (are you kidding me, this is hand-carved mahogany…name that movie), white led, pre-CBS.
Okay. Now how sad is that how excited you just got?
Oh wait. And there’s answers, too!
A) Pretty sad.
B) Those words mean nothing to me. Tone is in the hands.
C) hehehe Tone is awesome.
D) Sadness regarding a group of words that includes Two Rock, hand-wired, and white led’s? I don’t understand the question.
E) I’m sorry, I didn’t hear you over my tone.
F) Oh wait. There was a question at the end? I stopped halfway through the list and went and bought 6 more pedals.
G) None more sad.
Oh, and just for the record, my answer was that the loveliness of tone cannot be bound by responses such as these, so I created my own: T) (for tone) I embrace the infinite sadness (with no reference whatsoever to a band who played through a Crate) like a brisk Irish morning wrapped in a warm blanket of Edge…………’s tone. (There was some delay involved, too.)
Splendid.
Karl.
