Splendid.
Karl.

Monday night, March 23. I’ve finally get a date for the next Guitar for Worship Workshop. I’m still working out the details, and I’d love response from you guys on how to run this one. I usually do one of two formats for it.

The first one is more of an auditorium forum, where I talk through the guitar’s place in worship music, how to play with a band, how to play minimalistically, how to use effects, how to get good tone out of your amp and guitar, a Q&A and then I go around and offer advice on people’s rigs if they have brought them. This one tends to lend itself very well to even non-guitarists who want to show up.

The second one is more of an interactive forum where everyone talks through their own rigs and gets pretty much equal opportunities to teach. This one is pretty exclusive to only guitarists, and ones with fairly intensive rigs, at that.

So, if you’re interested in coming to this, it’d be great to know which forum you prefer. If there’s enough response for both, we might even do two nights.

Splendid.
Karl.
